If you are thinking of visiting us at Sanctuary, our Derby base, here are some of the things we offer – You will find a warm welcome from Nicola and Tony. You may have already encountered us on the streets of Derby, as we walk with, chat and pray with people as they go along their life’s journey. Our Faith in Action helps you to find a “path through the woods”, as we walk your journey beside you. Sanctuary is a newly opened place of welcome and support in a friendly atmosphere of hope, in central Derby. We are not asking for anything – we will just be there for you, whatever your need, and wherever you are in life. We offer a listening ear, prayer, healing and the love of Jesus, as he provides for our needs. Drop in to Sanctuary, where you will find a warm welcome and a truly peaceful environment. We look forward to seeing you again and again.
What ARKministries offer
ARKministries works with and for people in the local community, for the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are an independent Charitable Organisation, providing pastoral support for the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of the people we encounter, regardless of race, religion, nationality, sexuality or gender. We offer hospitality, compassion, prayer, a listening ear, advice and healing, allowing God to transform lives by bringing peace, love, hope, joy and freedom. THIS IS FAITH IN ACTION. Our services include promoting Christian values and bringing the good news of Jesus Christ through guidance, counselling and pastoral support. Sanctuary, our base in Derby, is a welcoming place to rest and chat and have a cup of tea or coffee. There is time and space at Sanctuary for quiet and prayer. We hold weekly Bible studies and workshops. Books and Bibles are for sale. We provide a small-scale food-bank and the provision of cold weather emergency packs. Sanctuary is a place for hospitality, solace, recovery, refreshment and guidance, and a warm welcome meets one and all. We continue our work on the streets of Derby offering support and prayer.
